Job Summary

A company is looking for an English Adjunct (Dual Enrollment - Norfolk).

Key Responsibilities

• Create a conducive learning environment for students' knowledge and skill acquisition
• Align course activities with learning outcomes and provide timely feedback to students
• Deliver instruction, conduct assessments, and hold office hours for student engagement

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in English, Literature, Creative Writing, or Rhetoric, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in relevant fields
• Teaching experience at the college level is preferred
• Knowledge of CANVAS or other learning management systems
• Experience with effective teaching strategies that enhance student success
• Proficient technology skills for a digitally-focused educational environment
