Job Summary

A company is looking for a Third Party Liability (TPL) Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a queue of Third-Party Liability accounts and work an average of 60 unique accounts per day
  • Contact patients to gather accident details and insurance information, and submit hospital bills to insurance companies
  • Coordinate with insurance adjusters and personal injury attorneys to ensure timely payment of hospital bills/lien
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one-year experience in hospital revenue cycle processes preferred
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing collection practices, such as HIPAA and FDCPA
  • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Dependable individual with strong organizational skills and a high commitment to customer service
