Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriting Manager to oversee operations and personnel in the underwriting department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage loan underwriting processes and ensure compliance with regulations
• Recruit, train, and develop staff while monitoring workflow and quality of work
• Develop processes to enhance customer service standards and loan production

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of underwriting experience with all loan products
• Five (5) years of underwriting management experience required
• Must have FHA/VA underwriting certifications
• Strong knowledge of Texas loans and Bond loans
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook systems
