Texas Licensed RX Refill Specialist - job 2 of 2

Job Summary

A company is looking for an RX Refill Specialist to bridge the gap between patient access to virtual prescription support and telehealth services.

Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription refill requests in real-time through various communication channels
• Maintain accurate documentation of all prescription refill interactions in the EMR
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to ensure timely medication requests are processed according to protocols

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution (required)
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician course and/or a formal Medical Assistant training program (required)
• Certified Medical Assistant licensure/certification and/or Certified Pharmacy Technician licensure/certification (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant roles involving prescription refills (preferred)
• Experience using EMR systems, preferably Athena Health (preferred)
