Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director to serve as the primary liaison between administration and medical staff, ensuring the development and implementation of medical policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and expertise to improve healthcare service efficiency and patient satisfaction
• Develop and implement a Utilization Management program to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in the appeals process and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Board Certified or eligible in a primary care specialty
• 3+ years of relevant experience, including 2 years as a Medical Director in a clinical practice
• Current state Medical license without restrictions
• Knowledge of applicable state, federal, and third-party regulations
