Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist - PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates clinical documentation reviews to ensure accurate representation of services and acuity of care
• Communicates with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure complete documentation of diagnoses and treatments
• Initiates physician queries for documentation clarification and follows up to ensure accuracy before discharge

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN)
• 3 years of acute care hospital nursing experience, preferably in critical care, or 5 years nursing experience with 3 years in critical care
• Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire
• Certification in Clinical Documentation (CCDS or CDIP) obtained upon hire or within 6 months of eligibility
• Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
