Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to oversee accounting policies and technical accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain accounting policies
• Identify and apply technical accounting guidance and document positions
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements and assess their impacts

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in a technical accounting role
• Public accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 or national firms
• Experience in designing and implementing technical accounting policies
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to research accounting literature
• Ability to interpret complex technical guidance and present accounting positions
