State Licensing Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a licensing specialist/paralegal to join the Product & Regulatory Legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a state licensing portfolio, including branch and Mortgage Loan Officer licenses
• Prepare license applications, annual reports, and renewals while coordinating with state regulatory agencies
• Conduct ad hoc research and provide support for the Product & Regulatory Legal team as needed

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with NMLS
• Experience in the mortgage industry is preferred
• Background in a top-tier law firm, in-house legal team, or government agencies
• Experience in a fintech environment is preferred
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work under deadlines
