Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote PBM Prior Authorization Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews of medical data for prior authorization of specialty medications
• Coordinate communication of case decisions to healthcare professionals and manage inbound calls regarding prior authorizations
• Maintain professional knowledge of drug and disease states relevant to specialty medical programs

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of clinical experience with specialty medications or prior authorization requests preferred
• Active pharmacist license in the state of residence in good standing
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D. required
• Experience using MS Office and other Windows-based applications
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
