Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP, Modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate actuarial models for statutory, GAAP, and hedging
• Manage project plans for modeling operation readiness and ongoing production processes
• Lead model governance activities and implement process improvements for quarterly reporting

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related fields
• 7+ years of actuarial experience in Life Insurance, Annuity products, or ALM environments
• Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent international designation, or 10+ years of relevant experience
• Significant experience with actuarial modeling software (e.g., AXIS)
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and experience with database and programming languages
