Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the migration of a monolithic PHP application into a scalable API layer for a Nextjs frontend
• Refactor and modernize the existing application, enhancing maintainability and scalability
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve engineering velocity across teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in platform development and web development principles
• Strong experience in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and RESTful API development
• Experience in modernizing legacy systems and migrating to scalable architectures
• Deep SQL knowledge, including database design and optimization
• Proficiency in Git and experience in a team-based development environment
