Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Contribute to the transition to microservices, designing APIs and event-driven architecture
• Optimise database performance and data structures for high-traffic, real-time applications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software development experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency in writing maintainable, high-quality, robust code
• Experience in designing and developing microservices in cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Experience with SQL databases
• Knowledge of message queues (SQS, Kafka, etc.) and asynchronous processing patterns
