A company is looking for a Sr. Robotics Engineer, Mapping & Localization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement core pieces of the next generation mapping and localization engine
• Build a mapping system that scales to city-size environments
• Collaborate to improve map annotation tooling and data consumption for safe navigation

Required Qualifications

• Master's in Robotics focused on localization and mapping with 5+ years of experience or PhD with applicable research background
• Deep understanding of SLAM systems
• Strong C++ programming skills
• Ability to design and build scalable systems
• Experience with real sensors such as lidar and camera is a plus
