Key Responsibilities

• Determine insurance company responsibility and review client charts for accurate documentation
• Prepare and submit claims for processing to insurance companies or governmental institutions
• Investigate and resolve billing errors, follow up on claims, and document billing actions

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2 or more years of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures and documentation preferred
• Understanding of how payments are processed by insurance companies preferred
