Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract - Sr. Environment Artist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build realistic, atmospheric environments for horror games, focusing on immersive interior spaces
• Own full environment scenes from blockout to final polish, utilizing strong modeling, texturing, and lighting fundamentals
• Provide feedback on environment execution across teams to ensure artistic quality and alignment with the horror tone

Required Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of environment set dressing, modeling, and texturing for realistic, horror-inspired spaces
• Solid foundation in art fundamentals including composition, lighting, form, and color
• Experience in guiding and mentoring junior artists
• Working knowledge of Niagara and VFX pipelines, with an eye for integrating atmospheric effects
• Understanding of dynamic lighting workflows and optimization techniques for Unreal Engine
