Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their Research Data and Digital Transformation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines and infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform services
• Integrate and normalize data from diverse sources including EHR systems and clinical trials
• Optimize data modeling and querying strategies to support advanced analytics and research workloads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of five years of experience in data engineering or related fields; or an Associate's degree with seven years of experience
• Advanced experience in SQL and strong experience in scripting languages such as Python or Java
• Experience in hybrid data processing methods such as Apache Spark and Kafka
• Knowledge of workflow scheduling and infrastructure as code is preferred
• Google Cloud Platform certification is preferred
