Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure distributed backend systems are performant, resilient, and scalable
• Build backend APIs and systems for user-specific education and action plans
• Contribute to code reviews and advocate for best practices in code quality

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
• 5+ years of experience in team-based development
• Experience with modern PHP (8+) required
• Familiarity with Symfony or Laravel, Doctrine DBAL, Doctrine ORM, and SQL preferred
• Understanding of distributed systems and their architecture
