Senior Algorithm Research Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Algorithm Research Engineer (Remote/Flexible).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and assess new features and safety mitigations for the automated insulin delivery (AID) algorithm
• Analyze clinical device data for algorithm development using statistical tools
• Execute research plans and experiments to evaluate clinical implications of new system features

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience
• Ph.D. in a related field preferred, with 2+ years of academic or industrial research experience in control and signal processing or data science
• Exceptional competence in writing software to implement and evaluate research ideas
• Ability to translate research into real-world applications
