Senior Academic Designer, Literacy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Academic Designer, Literacy/Primary Grades.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop content for teacher and student materials, including lessons and resources
• Train and mentor junior Academic Designers on content development and project expectations
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish workflows and maintain project communication

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education, literacy, linguistics, or a related field
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in literacy curriculum development focused on Grades K-2
• Subject matter expertise in foundational literacy skills
• Ability to create and visualize content for various delivery formats
• Experience in educational publishing and teaching is advantageous
