Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Researcher to enhance customer protection through Microsoft Defender for Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to escalations to resolve detection effectiveness issues
• Prototype automated detection solutions and conduct deep analysis on attacker campaigns
• Engage with diverse teams to drive customer experience and ensure holistic protection

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, cybersecurity, or anomaly detection
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years programming experience with Python, including machine learning model development
• Willingness to cover a periodic on-call rotation
• Experience querying and analyzing large datasets for detection and monitoring purposes
