Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Information Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records for accuracy and completeness
• Support clinical auditors in documentation validation
• Participate in special projects for government and commercial clients

Required Qualifications and Education

• RHIT certification required
• 0-2 years of experience in HIM, coding, or audit support for Level One; 3+ years for Level Two
• Strong skills in ICD-10-CM coding and EHR systems
• Interest in learning fraud detection, analytics, or healthcare auditing
• Additional credentials (CCS, CPC) are a bonus for Level Two candidates
