Revenue Accountant - job 2 of 4

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Accountant to support and advance its financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 standards
• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and assist with the annual audit
• Collaborate with the Operations team on sales tax processes and prepare revenue reports and analyses

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
• Minimum of a 4-year college degree and/or related certification in Accounting preferred
• Expert-level Excel skills are required
• Experience with software implementations/migrations and revenue-related systems is a strong plus
• Flexibility to adapt to a startup environment and willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed
