Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Director, National Office (Tax Controversy).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax controversy engagements, including IRS and state audits
• Advise clients on audit risk and defend technical tax positions
• Mentor and develop tax staff and managers working on controversy engagements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in federal tax controversy or related roles
• Experience in a public accounting firm, law firm, or with the IRS
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
• In-depth knowledge of IRS practice and procedure
