Remote University Seminar Professor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a University Seminar Remote Professor (Part-Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual new student orientation activities and promote early student engagement
• Engage students in an online LMS to develop study skills and support learning in nursing and health sciences
• Monitor student progress and provide coaching, mentoring, and referrals to academic resources as needed

Required Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Education, Adult Education, College Counseling, or a closely related field is required
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an online/virtual environment is required
• Experience with college student success processes, such as advising or counseling, is preferred
• Experience with Canvas LMS and proficiency in Microsoft Office products is strongly preferred
• Ability to provide official transcripts for all earned degrees from a regionally accredited institution
