Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Coding Senior Coder Surgical Pediatric.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records to accurately code diagnostic and procedural information in accordance with national guidelines
• Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic medical records while ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Provide quality assurance for medical records, ensuring compliance with coding rules and regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in medical record keeping
• Certification as a CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT in active status
• Five or more years of specialized, complex professional coding experience
• Elevated knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting with high accountability
