Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Technical Advisor, Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and review the integrity of ambulatory surgery coding/charging programs
• Advise on coding reviews, audits, and new coding/billing regulations
• Assist in writing policies, coding education, and workflow training

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management required
• 3-5 years of experience in clinical coding within a healthcare setting
• In-depth knowledge of coding systems like ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS
• Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes in clinical coding
