Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Release of Information Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and deliver patient health information requests promptly and courteously
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associate's degree in Health Information Technology or related field preferred
• 2 years of customer service experience required, preferably in healthcare
• Prior experience in health information management (HIM) is preferred
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
