Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intellectual Property Nurse Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and update existing coding edits
• Provide clinical expertise in the development and protection of medical bill review intellectual property
• Assist in drafting and reviewing patent applications for medical bill review audit

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
• Current certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or CCS-P)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience
