About the position
As a Provider Data Services Specialist at Aetna, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of provider data management. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, research, and resolve issues related to National Provider Identifier (NPI) data, which is essential for prompt claim payments and matching logic. This will involve making calls to provider offices to gather necessary information and clarify any discrepancies. You will collaborate closely with your team and internal counterparts to ensure that NPI data is accurately loaded into the system for all provider types, which is vital for maintaining the integrity of our healthcare services. In this position, you will need to manage constantly changing priorities and work independently to assess and evaluate provider data across various systems and NPI types. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you navigate through complex data sets and ensure that all information is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to our mission of delivering enhanced human-centric healthcare from the comfort of your own home. At CVS Health, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation and transformation.
