Principal Environmental Planner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Environmental Planner - Mining (On-call).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review federal, state, and local permitting and NEPA compliance for mining and energy projects
• Serve as a primary point of contact with government and private sector clients
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to prepare technical documents and interface with external clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science, Natural Science, Policy, Economics, Environmental Science, or related disciplines
• 12+ years of experience with national/state/local-level environmental reviews, mine permitting, or NEPA project management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience managing/preparing environmental permitting or NEPA documents preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
