Pre-Award Grants Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Award Grants Manager to oversee pre- and post-award grants management within the School of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide policy guidance and assistance with proposal development and compliance requirements
  • Analyze and manage budgets and expenditures to ensure compliance with sponsor terms and conditions
  • Collaborate with Principal Investigators and central administrative offices to ensure application submissions meet all requirements


Required Qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in pre- and post-award management
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business is preferred; a combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience managing complex research awards with various sponsors
  • Intermediate Excel skills are required
  • Oracle Financial Unit Manager (FUM) and Procurement training is preferred
