Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scheduling Specialist I to manage patient scheduling and related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete appointment scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations based on patient preferences and physician guidelines
• Collect and maintain accurate patient registration and insurance information for timely payment processing
• Process multi-channel messages related to patient and physician requests and assist with training new hires

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Proficiency in computer navigation and multitasking across multiple programs/screens is necessary
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
