Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payments and Banking Commercial Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex payments, banking, and other commercial agreements
• Collaborate with Regulatory and Product Counsels to ensure compliance with commercial obligations
• Provide legal advice focused on risk management and resolve issues in existing commercial relationships

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in commercial transactions within payments, banking, or financial services
• Experience with payment networks, issuers, acquirers, or payment facilitators
• Knowledge of financial services and payments compliance requirements
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts
• A J.D. with active membership in at least one state bar
