Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative to provide timely and accurate account resolution on business assigned by clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with relevant parties for prompt account resolution
• Accurately document accounts and audit assigned work for timely resolution
• Identify trends during the follow-up process and inform the Team Supervisor of any issues affecting collections

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year experience in EPIC, preferably on the PB side
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
• At least two to four years of experience with hospital and provider/professional billing, AR collections, and follow-up
• Ability to navigate payor portals and knowledge of third-party payers and contracts
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and system applications
