Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit insurance claims with necessary documentation
• Process insurance payments, investigate discrepancies, and manage follow-ups with patients and payors
• Maintain knowledge of insurance regulations and respond to inquiries regarding patient accounts

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT/HCPCS coding systems
• Ability to detect and correct billing errors
• Experience with medical billing and insurance claims processing preferred
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance coverage regulations preferred
