Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative part time Social Media Manager to join our new food truck business in Dallas, TX. This part time role offers a unique opportunity to support the development and launch of a new social media marketing, content creation, and brand promotion campaign. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to engage audiences through innovative content. This role is designed for individuals looking to enhance their skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
• Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies across FB, IG, TikTok.
• Create engaging and visually appealing content for posts, stories, and B2B purposes.
• Collaborate with the owner to brainstorm ideas for campaigns and promotions.
• Conduct proofreading of all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Monitor social media channels for competitors, trends, engagement, and audience feedback.
• Curate creative content for weekly posts
• Respond to consumer questions on social media accounts
• Review & track website inquiries (for new truck locations & calendar dates)
Requirements
• Strong understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
• Personal computer, iPhone with Internet
• Creative thinker
• Extremely organized
• Experience with setting up social media channels plus content creation.
• Social media marketing experience is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of google docs, MS excel, word, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work related to photography or content creation is desirable but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.30 – $15.30 per hour
