Job Summary

A company is looking for a Paralegal to support legal operations in the life insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret legal documents related to policy ownership and beneficiaries
• Support operational teams by applying legal documentation to ownership and beneficiary records
• Educate internal teams on the implications of various ownership and beneficiary arrangements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal
• Paralegal certificate, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
• Experience with probate matters and related legal proceedings
• Familiarity with federal bankruptcy laws and state probate laws
• Knowledge of state trusts and estates laws, including basic estate tax principles
