Job Summary

A company is looking for an RN Clinical Document Integrity Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve the quality and completeness of clinical documentation for accurate reimbursement
  • Educate patient care team members on clinical documentation standards and methodologies
  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper coding and DRG assignment
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Accredited School of Nursing and ability to pass a clinical competency exam
  • Doctor of Medicine or Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years recent acute care or Clinical Documentation experience in a hospital setting
  • Registered Nurse in state of practice or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist
  • Experience with clinical documentation software preferred
