Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to conduct remote subjective refractions for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct subjective remote refractions for patients while ensuring precision and adherence to clinical standards
• Guide patients through the exam process and provide accurate data to Doctors of Optometry
• Participate in feedback sessions and maintain operational efficiency by achieving required exams per hour

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications may be considered
• At least 1+ years of experience performing subjective refractions or in a similar technician role
• Experience in remote healthcare settings or telemedicine is preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during virtual sessions
• Comfortable using video conferencing platforms and electronic medical record systems
