Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students with hearing impairments
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
• Assess students' progress and adjust instructional methods as needed

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education
• Proven experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Strong knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other communication modalities
• Proficiency with digital teaching tools and online communication platforms
