Northeast Jumbo Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Jumbo/Non-QM Underwriter to support the Northeast region.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite various types of loans including Jumbo, Non-QM, and Conventional
• Maintain communication with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan statuses
• Assist with training needs of other mortgage positions and perform ad hoc reporting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of specific underwriting experience
• Recent experience with Jumbo and Non-QM underwriting
• Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP input
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
