Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Privacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement a university-wide privacy compliance framework and manage risk across various settings
• Oversee the development and enforcement of privacy-related policies and procedures
• Conduct audits and monitor compliance with privacy regulations and internal policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least eight years of relevant privacy compliance management experience
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPCP) required or must be obtained within one year of hire
• Prior supervisory experience or experience providing work direction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated understanding of federal, state, local, and third-party regulatory processes
