Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Customer Outreach Specialist I to manage delinquent mortgage loans by contacting borrowers in the early stages of default.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with consumers to collect past due mortgage payments while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Assess consumers' financial situations and arrange repayment plans as necessary
• Handle inbound calls regarding mortgage loan products and identify potential issues for escalation

Required Qualifications

• A combined 2 years' higher education and/or relevant work experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
• Excellent customer service skills
