Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage independence matters within the firm's automated conflict/independence system for client acceptance and new projects
  • Analyze services and relationships to assess the impact on the firm's independence
  • Consult with partners and managers regarding independence and identify potential independence issues
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in audit independence
  • Knowledge of independence rules from SEC, PCAOB, AICPA, DOL, and GAO
  • Experience with software systems and project management preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word
