Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managed Care Coordinator to join their Specialty pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient benefits and obtain initial authorizations for services
  • Track patient progress and manage re-authorizations as needed
  • Facilitate prior authorization activities and maintain accurate patient records
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; some college work preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience with patient accounts in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
  • Understanding of insurance, prior authorization, and patient benefits strongly preferred
  • Computer experience is mandatory
  • Must be eligible for participation in all applicable State and Federal reimbursement programs
