Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Systems Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for all CICS environments, including installation, modification, and troubleshooting
• Lead the installation of new CICS versions and apply updates from IBM as required
• Mentor less experienced teammates and collaborate with support personnel for incident resolution and upgrades

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to install and support multiple CICS regions
• Experience with CICS Transaction Gateway and supporting CICS table updates
• Solid knowledge of mainframe JCL and utilities
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience
• 8+ years of experience in a related job
