Job Summary

A company is looking for a Podiatry Collaborating Physician to support and train Advanced Practice Registered Nurses in delivering foot care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the collaborating physician for APRNs providing foot care services
• Assist in the training and development of APRNs as directed by the Chief Medical Officer of Podiatry
• Conduct monthly audits of at least 10% of APRN charts to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols

Qualifications:

• Medical degree with a specialization in Podiatry
• Current and valid medical license to practice in Louisiana and potentially other states
• Experience in a collaborative practice environment
• Ability to mentor and train healthcare professionals effectively
• Knowledge of compliance standards and auditing processes in healthcare
