Linux Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Engineer III.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Linux operating systems, including RedHat and CentOS
• Perform break/fix tasks, incident management, and scheduled maintenance
• Provide on-call support and work collaboratively with a team of engineers

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Linux systems administrator or equivalent education/training
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with relevant certifications
• Experience with general Unix/Linux administration and performance troubleshooting
• Familiarity with ITIL and ticketing systems
• Experience in VMware environments; additional cloud administration experience is a plus
