Licensed PAC Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PAC Nurse to manage post-acute care facilities telephonically.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage length of stay for assigned post-acute care facilities through scheduled telephonic reviews
• Authorize continued stays and determine medical necessity using clinical expertise and guidelines
• Act as a clinical resource and primary contact for assigned facilities, ensuring timely communication and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing/Practical Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a clinical setting
• Expertise in Utilization Management and knowledge of URAC & NCQA standards
• Broad knowledge of healthcare delivery regulations and evidence-based care guidelines
