Lead Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Cloud Principal Engineer (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Direct, manage performance, and develop a team of Cloud/DevOps engineers
• Optimize cloud infrastructure and recommend modifications for improved efficiency and reliability
• Act as the subject matter expert for the entire cloud ecosystem and maintain related documentation

Required Qualifications and Education

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team of cloud engineers
• Comprehensive experience with AWS services and CI/CD best practices
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and service mesh technologies
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals in a hybrid cloud environment
• Technical certification in AWS or Microsoft preferred
